The Big Wheel is up in town, the Christmas markets are open and the red cups at Starbucks have arrived. It can only mean one thing...CHRISTMAS HAS ARRIVED!

We know it might suck right now as you sit revising in the library with your santa hat on but we've got some great Christmas treats for you in the Student Union to help you through with your revision and beyond.

• 10 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY
  This year The Union is giving you a chance to win a prize every day from the 5th to the 8th of December and from the 12th to the 16th of December. All you have to do to enter is WhatsApp your name and number with the phrase 'What's in Santa's Sack?" to 07495 718 719. You could win free meals, a bottle of something special or Christmas lattes.
• 'TIS THE SEASON NOT TO STRESS'
  All throughout the exam & holiday season, The Advice Hub is running the 'Tis the Season not to Stress' campaign to help you through the incredibly stressful exam period. Look out for their great stress packs which include their special Christmas card.
• CHRISTMAS DINNERS AND MULLED WINE
  To make you feel even more festive (if you weren't feeling it already) we will be serving Christmas Dinners in the Student Union. You can get Roast Turkey or Nut Roast with all the Christmassy trimmings! We will also be selling warm and hearty Mulled Wine to help you through the cold December days.
• THEMED MUSIC AND FOOD NIGHTS IN GEORDIES
  In order to make the exam period less depressing, each day there will be a special dish of the day and a themed music night in Geordies from 6pm onwards.

  Tuesdays - Cheese Toasties
  Wednesdays - Curry in da Club
  Thursdays - Lasagna Lounge
  Friday - Ho Ho House
